To me, plaid is the perfect fall and winter pattern. It's just so cozy; especially paired with a cable knit cardigan, and a beanie (this one has little cat ears!). I also really love oxfords. They're just as cute as ballet flats, but a little more practical. One thing I've learned since starting school, is that ballet flats are not made for walking long distances. I have the blisters to prove it. This dress from ModCloth, is $89.99 vs. $60.01 for the handmade outfit. That's about $30 in savings, plus you get the rest of the outfit! Definitely worth it.
